An eco-monkey is anyone who is wants to make their life just a little bit ‘greener’. We’re not talking about giving up everything you own to move into a hut made of recycled aluminum cans with only your dog for warmth on those cold winter nights (although it has been done!). We are just trying to examine our current habits and the products that we use and find ways to alter them to reduce our carbon footprint. It’s not going to happen overnight – we are taking babysteps and we’re inviting you to walk along with us!
We are dedicating this website to posts concerning eco-product reviews, restaurants using local produce, cool places we have been, stories of people who are doing their best to save the environment….the list goes on!

I recently adopted my dog Chloe from Helping Hands Basset Rescue and we are having fun finding all the places dogs can go in Austin. I have also travelled all over Australasia, South-East Asia, Africa, North America, Europe, and many points in between. Camping is another activity that i enjoy along with anything that keeps me outdoors. I am a musician who is happiest pickin’ guitar and I also play a few other instruments to various degrees. As a student of music I am studying on my own as well as pursuing a degree in Music Education.
